Turkey day name card
Posted By margaret on November 18, 2011
When the children were younger and had a week off during Thanksgiving…
boredom hit and a craft emerged. They made place cards for the big event.
Just a little construction paper, heavy weight paper, glue, scissors,
and a marker are all they need.

Trace the hand, cut it out and decorate it.
Cut a lighter color piece for the guest’s name and
glue it to the turkey. If the construction paper is too lightweight, glue the turkey
onto heavier paper and cut around the outer edge. To keep the card upright,
cut out a longer piece of the heavy weight paper and tape or glue to the back.
Ta Da! They have had a fun craft and you have special name cards!
We kept ours and used them each year. The date on this one is 1990!
