Chemo Caps

Posted By on April 12, 2013

In January I decided to make at least one chemo cap each month.
By December I would have 12 made and find somewhere
to donate them.

They are easy to work up and such a small bundle to carry
with you to a dr. waiting room. Every time I would
pull it out of my bag and begin to add rounds
someone would ask what I was making.

It was a nice time to mention they were
going to help someone feel better.

It was a nice time to remind
myself and others
of the need
to help.

Here are my first 13 caps finished, bagged and ready to deliver
to a rural oncology department.

Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love the pic sets and vidoes but the live shows are the main reason I’m a member. I love them! Not just because they’re always extremely hot, but it’s like I get to hang out with you for an hour.

I want to learn how to knit and crochet to make these caps! I just purchased one from a store for a friend going through treatment, and although I am embellishing it I still wish I could have made it from scratch for her… Because there is so much more love in it. I love your caps Margaret and know they will be greatly appreciated! X
