Turn your own photo into a quilt!

| August 14, 2011

I turned this photograph

into this quilt

and you can do it too!

I’ll teach you how to use your computer to create your own
custom patterns for portrait and pictorial quilts.

Actually, there is much more to the class than just learning
how to make the patterns.

You will learn techniques on using specific tools, menus,
resolution, photo adjustment, cloning, histograms, cropping,
layers, separating values, and more!

Plus, how to complete the quilt.

It is a 4 week online class beginning Sept. 10, 2011.
You will use your own photographs to make the patterns!

The class has step-by-step videos you can watch,
pause and work along, and watch some more.

Video instruction is for three different software packages
(and one of the software applications is free). Can’t beat that!

And…no drawing required!

It’s too hot in Texas!

| August 1, 2011

I’m not complaining … but I’m just sayin’ … ENOUGH!

Today is day 30 of 100+ temps. Look at the forecast for this week:

This happened on our property last night with dry grass and some idiots pulling
a trailer loaded with heavy equipment and two flat tires!
Riding rims on a road with dry grass…go figure!
They started 4 separate fires along our rural road.
The local volunteer fire departments and neighbors kept it from our homes.
Big THANKS!!
