Feature Premiere Presentation Now Showing

The feature premiere presentation now showing in the multimedia center under quilt poetry is Grandma’s Quilt.grandmaweb With a runtime of 12 ½ minutes, this video is our longest and most ambitious video project. The opening scene is from an oil on canvas painting (circa 1970′s) that begins the adventure.  The prologue also contains a musical composition that went to #2 on the U.S. Bill Boards Top 100 in the 1970′s. The song and the singer/song received the Grammy Hall of Fame Award in 1980 for this his signature song.

The project includes the work of  five gifted poets who weave the adventure that ultimately leads to grandma’s special gift. Talented photographers document the journey and seven musical scores bring this uplifting sentimental epic to its final conclusion. Please, do not miss the closing credits because they enhance the journey and tell their own story.
